Introduction to Barbering

Participants in the Introduction to Barbering Course are eligible to take the additional examinations to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Barbering from VTCT. This is equivalent to a Level 4 NFQ award. Knights is an authorised training and certification centre for VTCT.

A new career in 6 weeks.

There are no prerequisites for taking our Introductory course. People of all ages and from all over the country with a wide variety of backgrounds have taken our course and gone on to work in barbershops. Several have even opened their own barbershops after the course.

FAS and Social Welfare grants are sometimes available to eligible people. Check with your local FAS or Local Employment Services office.

We are very centrally located on Grafton Street which means that it's easier to get models here than in most places. We have a very good reputation for the standard of haircuts our Students provide
